SITE's REGULATION

GENEALOGICAL TREE
1.	The site is a family affair, it is not for profit and can be accessed and consulted freely.

2.	All data therein are gathered from documents or works belonging to the public domain; they are therefore free rights and can be used freely. The sources and all the bibliographical data are published in the site’s pages.

3.	As specified on the home page, the aim of the site is to amend and complete the family Tree. The authors of the site cannot be held responsible for any errors which may be found in the pages of the site: names, dates, family ties, notes, omissions, etc.

4.	In view of the fact that the opinions of some writers on the Ghika family may differ, some of the data included in the tree are the author’s choice. As such, the authors cannot be held responsible for their selections.

5.	The genealogical tree is free of printing rights for any personal or family use, as well as any non-professional use.

6.	All writen reproduction, publication or commercial use of the Tree (full or partial) in the site’s proposed form is not permitted without formal agreement from the site’s authors.

PARTICIPATION
1.	All visitors to the site can participate and contribute to the development of the genealogical Tree

2.	In accordance with the spirit of the site, all contributors will accept that their participation and sources become public, free of rights for access or consultation.
	No royalties, license fees or remunerations in any form can neither be requested nor required from the authors' site.

3.	All contributions to the Tree will be accepted through the use of the participation form, thus enabling us to identify the contributor and check the reliability of his sources.

4.	The full name and e-mail address of the contributor will be registered in the “Sources” page; all other personal elements (postal address, tel. no, etc.) will be withheld unless the contributor permits their use when applying.

5.	Each contributor is responsible for the submitted data, the site’s authors having no possibility of ensuring the necessary verifications. Consequently, the site’s authors cannot be held responsible for the inclusion of the published data in the site’s pages.

6.	The authors of the site will not include in the Tree any data whatsoever that they deem non-reliable or that are not in conformity with the spirit of the site. They will not be held responsible for their personal choices.

THE SITE
1.	Each visitor to the site accepts that its authors will not, in any circumstances, be held responsible for any legal damages – direct, incidental or punitive – that ensure or bear any relation to the access or use of the site, the data and illustrations found therein.

2.	The data which yen submit as an participant (i.e. surname, first name, address, etc.) will be treated with utmost confidentiality as specified by the Conditions of Entry. They will not be transmitted, sold or rented out to any company or persons outside the site.

3.	The non-personal data that are gathered on jour visit to the site will enable us to set up statistics and records such as number of visitors, pages consulted, geographical origins, connection time, etc. These records are anonymous and no personal information (e-mail address, particular data, etc.) will be disclosed without your prior knowledge.

4.	At the same time, the authors of the site do not accept responsibility for any fraudulent gathering of information and data by third parties using hacking methods and techniques, as these are constantly evolving on the web.

5.	The above Regulations come under the rule of the laws of the Canton de Vaud – Switzerland. Any legal action that may arise will have to be put forward to the competent legal Body in Lausanne.

6.	The official language of the site is French.
